Pharmacists

Our patients are able to book appointments with Clinical Pharmacist at the surgery.

Pharmacists are specialist experts in the use of medicines and are able to address your medication needs and support you in taking control and managing your health conditions and concerns. 


A telephone or face-to-face appointment can be arranged to discuss various issues including:

Medication queries including side effects 

Reconcile hospital discharge summaries,

Organise drug monitoring, 

Provide chronic medication reviews 

Support with minor acute conditions 

Support you with dietary and lifestyle changes 

Suggest alternatives where there are stock supply issues,

As well as sign posting to support your mental and physical health.


Our Pharmacists work closely with GP’s and other clinical practitioners in the surgery to support you in managing you health conditions and are able to issue your prescriptions where required. Appointments can be easily arrange using the e-consult facility online.

Social Prescriber 

You may be referred to our Social prescribing team for a range of services that offer support your social, emotional or practical needs.

This could include feelings of loneliness, as well as for debt, employment or housing problems, or difficulties with their relationships.

First Contact Physiotherapist

They can help patients with musculoskeletal issues such as back, neck and joint pain by:

  • assessing and diagnosing issues
  • giving expert advice on how best to manage their conditions
  • referring them onto specialist services if necessary.
