Because we get a lot of appointment requests every day, AI helps us sort them so we can make sure the right people are seen at the right time.
AI also helps us sort the many letters and emails we receive from hospitals, and it supports us when we check blood test results and update your records.
Our doctors and nurses still make the final choices about your care whenever something needs to be done.

Andi Voice Agent
We use an AI phone helper called Andi when you call the surgery. Here’s what Andi does and why it helps.
What Andi Does:
- Andi listens to what you need when you call the practice.
- Andi turns your words into text and sends the message straight into our system (called Anima).
- This helps your request get to the right doctor, nurse, or team more quickly.
Why We Use It:
- Many people call the surgery every day, which can make the phone lines very busy.
- Andi can answer lots of calls at the same time, so you don’t have to wait in a long queue.
- This means patients get help faster and more smoothly.
Safety and Privacy:
- Andi cannot see your medical records.
- It only passes your message to our team.
- A real person at the practice always checks what Andi sends.
Anima Scribe
At our GP practice, our doctors and nurses use a helpful computer tool called Scribe. Scribe helps clinicians write down what happens in your appointment.
What Scribe Does:
- Scribe listens quietly in the background during your appointment.
- It then writes clear notes about what was talked about.
- It can also help the Clinician by suggesting the right medical codes and drafting letters they may need.
- Scribe can make notes in just a few seconds, which saves the Clinician a lot of time.
Why We Use It:
- Scribe helps our team spend more time talking to you instead of typing.
- It can save about one hour of paperwork every day.
- With less admin work, our clinicians can see more patients and help faster.
How Scribe Works:
- Scribe works with the systems we already use
- It understands different voices and accents, and even if more than one person is talking.
Safety and Privacy:
- Scribe is checked and approved as a safe medical tool.
- It follows strict rules like GDPR and NHS safety standards.
- All notes Scribe makes are always checked by a real Clinician before they are saved.
Your Choice
If you don’t want the AI Scribe to be used during your appointment, that’s completely okay.
Just tell the doctor or nurse at the start of your consultation, and they will make sure it is not used.

- When you have a test (like a blood test or cervical screening), the results are sent to us.
- Healthtech‑1 can file normal results automatically, often in just 1–2 hours.
- If something in your results looks unusual, it automatically alerts a doctor to review it urgently.
- This means results don’t have to wait for staff to type them in one by one.
