Extended Hours Access Appointments
For convenience we may be able to offer you an appointment outside of the practice's standard hours, such as a Nurse, HCA or Physio appointment. The appointment may be offered in the evening, outside of the practice's usual hours between 6.30pm and 8pm, or on a Saturday. Our aim is to offer patients in our area, access to more convenient appointments. Please note, the services we offer within these hours will change through the year to fit patient demand.
Your appointment may be remote or at Temple Hill Surgery. You will be advised which at the time of your booking.
Home Visits
You may only request a home visit if you are housebound or are too ill to visit the practice. Your GP will make a decision as to whether referred to the Home Visiting Team, based on the patient's medical condition and the urgency of the issue. Patients are requested to telephone before 10am to request a visit for that day. Emergency visits only will be arranged after that time. We ask that receptionists are given as much information as possible to enable the doctor to allocate priority to home visits.
Your Appointment may be offered to you;
- By phone
- Face to face at the surgery
- On a video call
Appointments by phone or video call can be more flexible. This often means the doctor or nurse can help you sooner.
